A diamond nose pin is the strangest thing in your jewellery box. It’s the smallest, often the cheapest piece you own — and somehow the one you wear the most. Through showers, through sleep, through everything. For most women in India, it’s also the very first diamond piece they ever buy. Maybe with a first paycheck. Maybe as a coming-of-age gift from their mother. Maybe to upgrade the gold starter they got at twelve.
That’s the brief we designed this collection around. Diamond nose pins that are light enough to forget, secure enough to trust, and beautiful enough to still notice — yours, fifteen years from now.
Sixteen designs, starting at ₹12,000 — making this the most accessible diamond category at Tritiya, and probably the easiest first step into real diamond jewellery if you’ve been thinking about it.
You’ll find two broad styles:
Solitaire nose pins for the classic look — a single round-cut diamond, set close to the nose, available in 0.08 carat (subtle) or 0.16 carat (more visible). These are the everyday workhorses. They go with absolutely everything, never look out of place, and tend to be what our customers keep coming back to.
Floral and decorative designs for a touch more presence — pieces like Royal Clover, Radiant Snowflake, Sunflower Spark, Golden Blossom, Star Prism, and Royal Daisy. Slightly larger, more sculptural. Good if you wanted something with a little personality, or if you’ve been wearing a solitaire for years and feel ready for something new.
Three things matter more than people realise.
Diamond size. A 0.08-carat diamond looks subtle and elegant — perfect if you want a hint of sparkle that doesn’t dominate your face. A 0.16-carat diamond is more visible, has more presence, and is what most women choose when upgrading from a starter piece. Bigger than that and the nose pin starts to look heavy on most faces — but if you have larger features or want a statement piece for occasions, our floral designs in the 0.20-carat-plus range work beautifully.
Post type. Push-pin (a straight or L-bent post) is the most common in India and the easiest to insert daily. Screw-back is more secure — almost impossible to lose — but slightly fiddlier to put on. If you’ve lost more than two nose pins in your life, switch to screw-back. We can make this change on most of our designs; just message us before ordering.
Karat. 14KT is the most durable for daily wear and holds up beautifully against soap, lotion, and sweat. 18KT has a warmer gold tone, slightly softer, and is the most popular choice for diamond nose pins at Tritiya — it’s the sweet spot between richness and resilience. 22KT looks the most traditional but wears down faster on a piece this small, so we usually recommend it only for occasion-wear nose pins.
Indian nose piercings vary slightly in size, but most fit a standard 22-gauge (0.6mm) post. All Tritiya nose pins ship in this standard size, which fits the vast majority of piercings. If your piercing is older, larger, or healed in an unusual shape, we can custom-fit the post — just let us know before ordering and our team will adjust.
Every Tritiya diamond nose pin comes with BIS hallmarked gold and HUID traceability, certification on the diamond above the disclosure threshold, and lifetime free cleaning and polishing.
And about losing them — because everyone does, eventually. If you lose your nose pin within six months of purchase, bring whatever you have left (the post, the box, the certificate) to any of our 4 Delhi stores and we’ll work something out. It happens to all of us.
If you’re planning to buy multiple pieces — say, a nose pin plus matching studs and a pendant — our Atulyam Plan at ₹2,000 a month gets you zero making charges on the final purchase, which adds up meaningfully across a small collection.
What’s the price range for diamond nose pins at Tritiya? Our diamond nose pins start at ₹12,000 and go up to around ₹28,000. The most popular price band is ₹15,000 to ₹22,000 — solitaire and small floral designs in 14KT or 18KT gold.
Are diamond nose pins comfortable for daily wear? Yes. We design with light weight (most are under 0.5g) and secure posts so they don’t twist or fall out during sleep, exercise, or daily activity.
Can I sleep with a diamond nose pin in? Absolutely. In fact, most of our customers leave them in 24/7. Just be gentle when you wash your face — work around it rather than tugging at it directly.
What’s the difference between push-pin and screw-back nose pins? Push-pin is a straight or L-shaped post that slides into the piercing — easier to put on, occasionally easier to lose. Screw-back has a tiny twist mechanism that locks the back in place — more secure, slightly fiddlier. If you’re prone to losing nose pins, choose screw-back.
How do I clean my diamond nose pin? Soak in warm water with a few drops of mild dish soap for 5 minutes, brush very gently with a soft toothbrush, rinse and pat dry. Don’t use harsh chemicals or jewellery cleaners with bleach. For deeper cleaning, bring it to any Tritiya store — free for life.
Will the diamond stay secure? We use bezel and prong settings that hold the diamond firmly without exposed edges. The settings are designed for daily wear and won’t loosen with regular use. If anything feels off, bring it to a store and we’ll re-set the stone for free.
