The Gold Ring Stays in the Family

Indian families have a way with gold rings. They get gifted at engagements. Slipped onto fingers at first jobs. Passed down at weddings. Worn through generations until they become as familiar as the hand they’re on. There’s a reason gold rings outsell almost every other category of jewellery in India — they’re the most universally given, most easily worn, most welcomed piece you can put in someone’s hands.

This collection is built for that range — daily-wear bands you’ll forget you’re wearing by lunch, statement pieces for occasions, men’s signets that hold their weight, and meaningful designs (yes, including a traditional Auspicious Swastika Filigree Ring) that draw on Indian craftsmanship rather than imported design.

What’s in the Collection

Fifty-one designs starting at ₹21,049, in three karats and four metal tones.

Lightweight daily-wear bands — Trinity Orbit, Golden Swirl Filigree, Golden Flow Wave, Golden Beaded Orbit. These sit between ₹21,000 and ₹30,000, in 14KT or 18KT. They’re the most-bought rings in our collection — comfortable, low-maintenance, work-friendly, and easily stackable if you wear multiple rings.

Filigree and traditional designs — Auspicious Swastika Filigree, Intertwined Filigree Leaf, Golden Pyramid Signet. Drawing from older Indian goldsmithing traditions — handcrafted patterns, cultural motifs, designed to feel meaningful rather than fashionable. Several are priced between ₹38,000 and ₹54,000 reflecting the craftsmanship hours involved.

Floral and botanical — Royal Clover, Royal Flora Square, Petite Lotus Bloom, Blooming Solitaire Flower. Softer, more aesthetic-led pieces, often chosen as anniversary gifts or for women who already have plain bands and want something with personality.

Men’s signets and statement rings — Golden Pyramid Signet, Architectural Grid Gold Ring, Royal Flora Square. Heavier, structured, designed for men’s fingers and weighted to feel substantial. Most of these are 22KT for the deeper yellow tone, though we offer 18KT variants on request.

Two-tone and rose gold — Regal Lattice Rectangular Two-Tone Gold Ring and others throughout the collection. For buyers who want something that mixes yellow gold with white or rose gold in the same piece.

Karat – The Conversation That Matters Most

For gold rings, the karat conversation matters more than for any other jewellery category. Here’s the honest version.

22KT is what most Indian buyers picture when they hear “gold.” Deep yellow colour, traditional weight, the highest gold purity we offer for jewellery (916 / 91.6%). It’s also the softest a 22KT ring worn daily will start showing scratches and minor warping within a year or two of constant use. That’s not a defect; it’s the nature of pure gold. 22KT is the right choice for occasion-wear rings, gifting, statement pieces, and any ring you don’t intend to wear in the shower or the gym.

18KT (750 / 75% gold) is the sweet spot for everyday gold rings. Hard enough to resist daily damage, warm enough in colour to still look like proper gold, and significantly more affordable than 22KT at similar weights. Most of our lightweight daily-wear designs come in 18KT.

14KT (585 / 58.5% gold) is the most durable option and best suited for buyers who genuinely never take their ring off sleep, shower, gym, kitchen. The colour is slightly paler than 18KT but still distinctly gold. Popular with men who want a piece that lasts decades without thinking about it.

The buyback rate on any Tritiya gold ring is calculated on the actual gold weight, so a heavier 22KT ring will fetch more on buyback than a lighter 18KT but the daily-wear experience of 18KT is genuinely better. Pick the karat that matches how you’ll actually wear it, not the karat you think you should pick.

What’s Included with Every Ring

Every Tritiya gold ring comes with BIS hallmarked gold and HUID traceability, full disclosure of gold weight in grams, lifetime free maintenance and polishing, and our guaranteed buyback at our published rate. If a stone is set into the ring, it comes with its own certification too.

For purchases above ₹50,000, our Atulyam Plan lets you save monthly at ₹2,000+ and eliminate making charges on the final purchase a meaningful saving on heavier statement and signet rings.

How to Choose Your Ring

A few questions our customers ask us most, with honest answers.

Yellow, white, or rose gold? Yellow gold is the traditional, safest choice and pairs with all skin tones. White gold (rhodium-plated 18KT) is more modern  but needs re-plating every 2-3 years to stay bright. Rose gold has a warm pink-gold hue, particularly flattering on warmer Indian skin tones, and doesn’t need re-plating.

What weight should I look for? For a daily-wear band, 3-5 grams is comfortable. Statement rings range from 5-10 grams. Men’s signets typically run 7-15 grams. The product page lists exact gold weight on every ring.

Plain or with stones? Plain gold rings are the most versatile and easiest to wear daily — they go with everything and never look “wrong” for an occasion. Stones add presence but also constraints (you can’t wear them while doing certain activities). If unsure, start with plain.

A Note on Buying for Gifting

Gold rings are one of the most-gifted jewellery pieces in India — anniversaries, wedding gifts, first jobs, religious occasions, Akshaya Tritiya, Dhanteras. A few things that help if you’re buying as a gift.

Sizing. Indian ring sizes typically range from 8 to 16 for women and 16 to 22 for men. If you don’t know her size, our team can help you guess based on her other jewellery, or we can ship a free sizer to your address before ordering. We also offer free resizing once after purchase if the first guess is off.

Karat. If unsure, 18KT is the safest gift choice — looks like proper gold, lasts for daily wear, and is more affordable than 22KT at the same weight. Save 22KT for occasion-wear gifts where she’ll mostly wear it on special days.

Wrap. Every Tritiya order ships in a presentation box. If it’s a surprise, leave a note at checkout and we’ll ship the invoice and price details separately to your billing address.

If you’d like to see any ring in person before deciding, you can walk into any of our 4 Delhi stores – Krishna Nagar, Karol Bagh, Shahdra, or Laxmi Nagar or schedule a free 15-minute video call with our designers.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the price range for gold rings at Tritiya?
Our gold rings start at ₹21,049 for lightweight 14KT or 18KT bands and go up to ₹78,000+ for heavier 22KT statement and signet pieces. Most of our daily-wear collection sits in the ₹25,000 to ₹45,000 range.

What does BIS hallmark and HUID mean on a gold ring?
BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certifies that the gold is the karat it claims to be. HUID is the unique six-character ID stamped on every hallmarked piece since 2021, traceable through the BIS Care app. Every Tritiya gold ring carries both.

Which karat is best for a daily-wear gold ring?
14KT or 18KT — both are durable enough for everyday wear, hold their shape, and don’t scratch easily. 22KT is softer and better suited for occasion or statement rings rather than rings worn 24/7.

Can I exchange a gold ring later for an upgrade?
Yes. Tritiya offers guaranteed buyback on all gold jewellery at our published rate, calculated on the actual gold weight in the piece. Bring the ring with its original certificate to any of our Delhi stores to exchange or upgrade.

Do you customise gold rings?
Yes. We accept custom orders for karat, weight, design adjustments, and engraving (names, dates, initials). Custom rings typically take 2 to 4 weeks. Best to book a video call to discuss the design first.

How do I clean a gold ring at home?
Soak in warm water with a few drops of mild dish soap for 10 minutes, brush gently with a soft toothbrush, rinse and pat dry. Avoid harsh chemicals, chlorine, and bleach. For deeper cleaning, polishing, or re-rhodium-plating on white gold, bring it to any Tritiya store free for life.
