Studs, Hoops, or Danglers?
The honest answer: it depends on what you wear most days.
Studs are the workhorse. They sit flush against the earlobe, never tangle in hair or scarves, and work with everything. If you’re buying diamond earrings for the first time, start here. Our studs run from ₹22,900 to around ₹56,000 — the floral designs (Sparkling Petal, Blossoming, Phoolvika) and geometric designs (Kinetic Windmill, Contemporary Orbit, Sunburst) are the most-picked.
Huggie hoops sit close to the ear without dangling. They give you a touch of motion without the maintenance of full hoops. Try them if traditional studs feel a bit too quiet but full hoops feel like too much.
Drops and danglers add length and movement. These work brilliantly when your hair is tied up or when you’re dressing up for an event. The Aurelia Diamond Flame Earrings and Eternal Embrace Diamond Earrings are good examples of what subtle drop earrings can look like — present, but not overwhelming.
What to Actually Look For
When you’re buying earrings for daily wear, weight is the thing nobody talks about. A pair that looks gorgeous in photos can pull on your earlobes by 4pm. Our daily-wear studs are typically 2-4 grams total (for the pair), with diamonds set securely into 14KT or 18KT gold so they won’t snag on hair or clothes.
For the diamond itself, you don’t need a huge stone to feel meaningful. A pair of 0.10-0.20 carat SI-clarity diamonds gives genuine sparkle in any light — and at this size, you literally cannot see clarity differences with the naked eye, so paying for VVS clarity is paying for something invisible. We tell customers this honestly because it saves you ₹15,000-₹30,000 you can put toward a better setting or a second pair.
Karat Matters More Than You’d Think
14KT is the most durable for earrings worn daily. It holds its colour against shampoo, sweat, lotions, and the inevitable accidental sleep-in. If you forget to take them off at the gym or in the shower, 14KT will forgive you.
18KT has a richer gold tone with a slightly softer feel. Most of our diamond stud and dangler designs are crafted in 18KT — it’s the sweet spot between durability and that distinctly warmer yellow gold look.
22KT has the deepest yellow gold colour — traditional, rich, beautiful. Best reserved for occasion-wear earrings rather than daily studs, simply because softer gold shows wear sooner if you never take it off.

What’s the price range for diamond earrings at Tritiya? Our diamond earrings start at ₹22,900 and go up to around ₹90,000. The majority sit in the ₹25,000 to ₹40,000 range — comfortable daily-wear studs in 18KT gold with SI-clarity diamonds.
Are these diamond earrings comfortable for daily wear? Yes. Most of our studs and huggies are designed at 2-4 grams (for the pair) so they don’t pull on your earlobes through the day. Check the product weight on each page — anything under 4g is genuinely all-day comfortable.
Will the diamonds stay secure? We use pressure-set or prong-set mounts depending on the design, with screw-back or push-back closures. Both are secure, but if you’re prone to losing earrings, ask for screw-back when ordering — slightly more fiddly to put on, much harder to lose.
Can I clean my diamond earrings at home? Soak in warm water with a few drops of mild dish soap for 10 minutes, then brush gently with a soft toothbrush. Rinse and pat dry. Avoid steam cleaners and ultrasonic cleaners on huggie hoops or any earring with adhesive components.
What size diamond should I choose? Stud sizes are listed by total diamond carat weight, which determines visible size on the ear. 0.10ct studs are subtle and good for first-time buyers; 0.20-0.30ct studs have visible presence; 0.50ct+ is statement size. If you usually wear larger earrings, try the next size up.
Can I exchange a pair if it doesn’t suit me? Yes. We offer 30-day easy returns on online orders. For store purchases, we’ll exchange within a reasonable window — bring the original certificate and packaging along.
